Full-Time Territory Manager
Precept Territory Managers are professionals responsible for sales and service of BJU Press and other educational materials to the Christian school community in a specified geographical region. They energetically serve the goals, mission, and people of Christian education. Through Precept sales efforts, they find satisfaction in the passionate promotion of excellence in Christian education, helping to produce students that are prepared academically and with a robust biblical worldview.
Job Location: Texas, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. Territory Managers live within their sales territory. Regular travel within territory to accounts and to other locations outside the territory for periodic training and sales
conferences is expected.
• Joyfully serve and support existing Christian school customers (maintaining
• Energetically pursue new and expanded adoption of BJU Press materials and
other Precept product offerings (annually growing sales within territory)
• Carefully manage SalesForce CRM system to reflect sales activities and
opportunities with accounts, contacts, and opportunities (carefully documenting
activities and planning strategies)
• Maintain regular contact with colleagues and supervisor (sharing experiences
and receiving guidance)
• Stay current with academic and professional trends commensurate with
Skills and Qualifications: Successful Precept territory managers have unique combinations of some of the following characteristics. Christian school experience Sales or marketing experience Pastoral or ministry experience. Self-motivation and drive for measurable success Servant’s Heart
Salary Range and Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with experience with additional opportunities for commission. Precept employment benefits include a 401K program, Health, Dental, and Life Insurance, and Company Vehicle.
